Château de Boisson has the unmistakeable style of Cevennes and Ardèche mansion- houses: elegantly restored stone work stands out on the archways and porches. For centuries, the “bastide” was both a stately home and a farm. Silkworms in particular were bred here to supply the silk manufacturers in Lyon. As a remnant of this industry, there are several magnificent mulberry trees that shade the courtyard and spread throughout the campsite are majestic cedar trees delivering precious shade. Yelloh!
