REGION The coastline is the area’s highlight obviously. Family beaches bordered with pines, spectacular lighthouses (Cordouan’s is one of the most famous in France), you’ll spent most of your time by the ocean. Explore La Coubre forest also by foot or on your bicycle. A day out or at least an afternoon in Royan can’t be overlooked either. Camping La Palombière is located in a beautiful verdant oasis, only 4 kms from a sandy beach on the « Côte Sauvage ». The bicycle path that can take you there starts directly from the campsite. The campsite provides a number of spacious touring pitches with electric hook up. Its rentals are all equipped with a terrace. In July and August enjoy the cozy restaurant, the outdoor swimming pool, a snack-bar & minimarket. Kids will love the playground area, including a trampoline, a dedicated yurt for creative workshops & leisure activities. The swimming pool is open from mid-May until the end of September.
