his peaceful site is an ideal base for exploring Cheshire and is situated close to the A54. The
site is well-maintained, spacious and o ers 35 pitches (all with electric hook-up) with 32 on
hardstanding plus 10 seasonal pitches. There is also a 6½-acre rally and camping eld. The toilets
and showers are spotless, with environmentally friendly features.There is a small shop at reception,
selling all the basics, plus you can pick up lea ets about local attractions. The Shrewsbury Arms,
a traditional pub serving good food and local ales is a short stroll away. Elm Cottage is close to
historic Chester which o ers many attractions.

astlerigg Hall is one of Britain’s most spectacularly scenic campsites, set in the heart of the
English Lake District. Its elevated position provides wonderful panoramic views. The facilities
are of a high standard with under oor heating to one of the toilet buildings, privacy cubicles,
laundry and a bathroom. The park’s shop is well stocked with fresh bread, milk, papers and a wide
range of other items. The restaurant on site is popular and open six days a week, serving locally
sourced food, and a gallery displaying local arts and crafts is open most days. Castlerigg Hall is a
pleasant 25-minute woodland walk to the centre of Keswick.
