This is a direct result of a close, strong and dedicated relationship between both parties, which has been supported by selected seed and ware growers around the country. Amanda has shown excellence in its resistance to Pa2, Pa3, RO1 and RO4 with a reduction of numbers of up to 80% in cysts. Furthermore, Amanda shows incredible tolerance, which is sometimes lacking in most varieties. Amanda produces relatively high dry matters which lends itself nicely to the fresh chip and batch frying crisp markets. We have experienced strong resistance to black leg, virus and Alternaria issues.
