J & E HALL UNVEILS NEW COMMERCIAL REFRIGERATION HUB J & E Hall has launched a new easy-to-use website dedicated to commercial refrigeration equipment. The new J & E Hall Commercial Refrigeration Hub features the complete ranges of J & E Hall commercial condensing units and J & E Hall cellar coolers. J & E Hall Marketing Manager Helen Jerram said: “The J & E Hall Commercial Refrigeration Hub is aimed at the busy installer who needs easy access to information about our commercial products. It’s all there in one place – technical manuals, parts lists, trouble-shooting guides and product literature. QR codes on new products will link directly to the hub and Ecodesign product specification sheets are also available.” The J & E Hall Commercial Refrigeration Hub will include Labour Assist. This new feature gives installers peace of mind in the unlikely event of a parts failure under warranty by providing them with a contribution towards labour costs incurred in replacing the part. Helen Jerram added: “Our commercial refrigeration products already carry a comprehensive three-year parts warranty but to further enhance this we have now introduced Labour Assist to give installers that extra reassurance.” The hub will allow installers to find their nearest J & E Hall distributor. Up to the minute news on J & E Hall commercial products and information on training will be featured too. The J & E Hall Commercial Refrigeration Hub will run side by side with the company’s existing corporate website. J & E Hall supplies commercial refrigeration products specifically designed by an experienced in-house team and manufactured within its own group facilities. This includes reciprocating, scroll and digital commercial condensing units. Energy eŠciency is key and J & E Hall manufactures fully factory built commercial condensing units that are quiet and easy to install. They can be used in a wide range of applications including supermarkets, cold stores and health care facilities. The newly extended J & E Hall Cellar Plus Cooling System range now includes nine models. The new 7kW and 8kW cellar coolers with their increased capacity and longer pipe runs are suitable for multiple cooling uses reaching industries beyond pubs, bars and restaurants. With a temperature range of 4°C to 15°C they are ideal for cold storage and have made their mark in the food processing industry which has played a key role in keeping us all fed during the Coronavirus pandemic. The company is a specialist in the breeding and supply of ornamental F1 hybrid plants and open pollinated seeds. For over 30 years, a Munters MD300 dehumidifier controlled humidity in their most critical seed store. “The biggest issue is humidity” says Stuart Walpole, Process Manager at Floranova. Creating the right environment is essential to prevent any germination or damage ahead of shipping and planting. With the MD300 now obsolete, Munters recommended and supplied an ML270 desiccant dehumidifier as the most suitable alternative. “Reliability is key” says Stuart. “We opted for a direct replacement and didn’t even consider using anyone else. This is our most critical storage area, and as such we need a system we can trust. We know we can rely on the Munters units.” The temperature in this store is maintained to 12-15°C, with the ML270 maintaining relative humidity to 27-33%. INTERACTIVE COMPONENTS LTD – NEW PRODUCT LAUNCH The De Pala 3-way 633BED Diverting Zone Valve with 2x15mm compression and 1x1/2” BSP female port with a maximum working pressure of 16.0 bar and customer specified maximum operating temperature of 85°C and fitted with a 24Vdc actuator with 12 second actuation time for 90 degrees of rotation, has successfully achieved Kiwa UK Regulation 4 Product and WRAS approval. Both the valve and actuator were tailored to meet a customer specific requirement of an integral o¦ position between the diverting positions and will be used in conjunction with a standard De Pala 2-way 642BED on/o¦ valve with 42mm compression fittings and standard 12 second actuator. The original specification called for an actuated 2-way on/o¦ 15mm compression fittings isolation valve to be used in conjunction with an actuated 3-way 15mm compression fittings diverting valve. By modifying a standard 3-way diverting valve and actuator head to incorporate the isolation function of the 2-way 15mm valve, the customer has saved a large proportion of the additional cost of the 2-way isolation valve in their system.
