Brett Wharmby has joined the company with responsibility for driving brand awareness and growth in the Midlands. He previously spent two decades in the commercial sales team at Vaillant. Noel Kelly moves fromValves Instruments Plus (VIP) – a specialist supplier of engineering and plumbing solutions to the building and construction sector. His new role will cover the north of England. He was previously sales manager at a dehumidification company dealing with a range of blue-chip clients in the UK and around the world. Based in Manchester, he will now oversee Klima- Therm's HVAC solutions and service inquiries together with supervising the development of a dehumidification role for Klima-Therm. He said: “I was keen to work with a dynamic business and Klima-Therm fits the bill perfectly. Andrew Firth will cover the north and David Frimpong the south, where they will collectively lead a team of seven key account managers and a desk-based support team, providing technical and specification advice for developers and building services clients across the UK. The specification team will be backed up by EnviroVent’s integrated design and estimation specialists and engineers. Andrew Firth has spent the last three years as a new build specification manager in the ventilation sector. He has worked within the construction industry for over 40 years providing product specification and system design advice and expertise for a number of leading manufacturers in plumbing, heating and pipeline distribution. David Frimpong, whose previous role was business development manager for the Genuit Group, has over 10 years’ experience in working with developers and architects in the HVAC sector. They will focus on developing business opportunities in the new build residential market particularly in system sales, focusing on EnviroVent’s MVHR (Mechanical Ventilation Heat Recovery), MEV (Mechanical Extract Ventilation) and DMEV (Decentralised MEV) systems. He will be responsible for all operational and strategic procurement management including reviewing and negotiating trading agreements, sourcing best-quality sustainable and environmental products and supplier services, and maintaining and building relations with existing and new suppliers. Based at J SWright’s London office in Euston, Tony will lead a procurement team that includes experienced M&E buyers and hirers. He will also join a head office team in Aston, Birmingham that is in the process of digitising the business practices and operations of J SWright and its sister company Wright Maintenance to enhance operational efficiencies and compliance. J SWright has also welcomed Dean Burgess as IT manager. He was previously head of IT for national children’s charity NYAS (National Youth Advisory Service), where he was instrumental in gaining the charity Cyber Essentials accreditation vital for gaining government contracts.
