It also features Bluetooth connectivity and app integration for improved safety, security and streamlined tool management. The Viega Pressgun Picco 6 Plus has a new inline configuration and has been designed to operate as a natural extension of the arm. At just 1.6kg, it is 700g lighter than the previous generation Pressgun Picco and allows comfortable one-handed operation. Engineered for installation flexibility and ease of use, it has a 180° rotating head so connections can be pressed at any angle. The Pressgun Picco 6 Plus delivers a 24kN pressing force and is compatible with metallic Viega press connectors in dimensions from 12 to 35 mm, Megapress thick-walled steel tube connectors from 3/8 to 3/4 inch and plastic and multilayer composite pipe systems from 12 to 40 mm. Due to refinements in the design, the Pressgun Picco 6 Plus has longer service intervals than previous models at 40,000 pressings or 4 years, whichever occurs first, and features an automatic safety shutdown after 42,000 pressings. With the Pressgun Picco 6 Plus, users benefit from a new battery system and longer runtimes. The new increased capacity 12 V batteries are available in 3.0 and 6.0 Ah versions and are protected within the casing of the press tool. The IP rating system denotes the level of protection a product oers against ingress by solid objects and liquids. The first digit represents resistance against solids, while the second digit represents resistance against liquids. The enhanced Varipack versions have uprated IP55 and IP66 designations, enabling the units to be mounted either inside the switch cabinet (IP20) or outside, thanks to their more protective enclosure, giving installers flexibility on site. Varipack frequency inverters are designed for safe and easy capacity control and have been specially adapted for refrigeration and for the operation of BITZER compressors. They open up a wide range of applications in supermarkets, hotels and restaurants as well as food manufacturing and processing. Varipack is suitable for refrigeration and air conditioning systems as well as heat pumps and can be combined with single compressors and compound systems alike. The launch of the BreezeleSS+ cassette, with 360° airflow, follows the success of the BreezeleSS+ wall mounted series and uses the same innovative technology to soften the airflow. The airflow is softened into thousands of tiny particles of cool air by 10,800 hourglass-shaped micro holes, eliminating the feeling of cold drafts. The new BreezeleSS+ range is designed for comfort and includes ‘Follow Me’ sensitive cooling which measures the temperature around the user and adjusts comfort levels accordingly. The ‘independent vane control’ feature gives the flexibility to set the direction of each vane at dierent angles, allowing the airflow to be customised depending on where it is needed the most. Additional flexibility and optimum comfort can be achieved via various modes tailored to each unique user’s preference; Air Blast, Gentle Flow or Power Breezeless mode. The super slim BreezeleSS+ cassettes have low heights starting from just 205mm, allowing for easy installation in shallow ceilings. Other handy installation and maintenance features include built-in LED display for easy troubleshooting and system information, externally mounted built-in drain pump with vertical exhaust system and 1000mm lift, dedicated water collection tray and anti-corrosion metal electrical box with easy access cover. The units optional Wi-Fi interface with remote monitoring has a new optimised design for easy and discrete installation and will allow users to set the temperature at the touch of a button. Midea’s BreezeleSS+ cassettes and systems across the entire LCAC split range can cool down to 16°C to deliver optimum comfort levels. A hard-wired multifunctional controller (with built in 7-day timer) is supplied as standard, allowing control of multiple units simultaneously. A stylish infra-red remote controller is available as an optional extra. All units can be controlled via the Midea Air App and can be used with Alexa and Google Play voice commands. Wiring across the range is eortless with 4 core interconnection cables used for both power and communication. Updated models for Q3 2021 also include RAC consoles, LCAC compact cassettes, ceiling & floor-mounted, ducted units - in addition to the introduction of the new, stylish Vertu Plus wall mounted units. Completing the Midea split systems line up is a series of new outdoor condensing units. They oer greater installation flexibility with a maximum refrigerant piping length increased up to 75m and a maximum height dierence between indoor and outdoor unit of 30m.
