This means organisations belonging to the Association of Medical Research Charities (AMRC), including Coeliac UK, will face a £310 million hole in UK medical research funding. This could see the loss of a generation of new researchers and set life changing research back decades. AMRC has launched a campaign asking the UK Government to set up a Life Sciences Charity Partnership Fund. This is a co investment scheme, with the Government providing a level of match funding for future charity research over the next three years. To date, the Government has not pledged any money to support the future of charity funded medical research. Will you support the appeal?
