30 February | March 2023 C H A N G I N G F A C E S ELCO HEATING SOLUTIONS APPOINTS NEW SENIOR MANAGER Andreea Manoiu has been appointed as Senior Manager at ELCO Heating Solutions UK. Her new role will see her leading the ELCO and ATAG Commercial sales teams, in addition to the ELCO Solutions Centre and Parts & Services Department. Bringing a wealth of experience to the role, Andreea has been a key member of the ELCO team since 2018, having held key managerial positions in the company’s sales and marketing divisions. As Senior Manager, Andreea will be responsible for ELCO and ATAG Commercial’s UK sales strategies and commercial development. She will work closely with ELCO’s specifier and consultant customers, as well as ATAG Commercial’s merchant partners nationwide. Andreea’s appointment comes at a time of significant expansion for ELCO, part of the Ariston Group, which announced Edoardo Pauletta d’Anna as its new UK Managing Director on 9th January 2023. www.elco.co.uk HAIER APPOINTS RICHARD SHERLOCK AS EUROPEAN A2WAND HEAT PUMP PRODUCT LEADER Haier has appointed Richard Sherlock as European Air to Water and Heat Pump Product Leader. Formerly employed by Mitsubishi Electric and Daikin, Richard has extensive experience of working in the heating and cooling sector and the past 15 years have been devoted to the heat pump market. Haier European HVAC General Manager Bob Cowlard says: ‘’It is no secret that the A2W market is booming, mainly as it is viewed as a key element to the successful move to a carbon neutral future for domestic heating. The UK market is still in the early days of development with usage being driven by legislation rather than real customer demand. Haier provides comfort cooling for residential, commercial and applied air conditioning solutions. For Richard, the focus will be on heat pumps. www.haierhvac.eu TG LYNES ANNOUNCES NEWMD Andrew Ingram has been announced as the new Managing Director at leading heating, plumbing and air movement materials supplier TG Lynes. Long-serving Andrew has taken over the top job at the thriving Enfield-based business from Martin Hastings. Andrew has been with TG Lynes for almost 20 years having started out as Transport Manager before progressing to General Manager and now MD. He said he was thrilled to take up the new role and had a clear vision of how to keep the business moving forward. Andrew said the business would also continue to look for new products to add to its already extensive range, while continuing to make strides in sustainability and towards net zero. He added that the business would continue with its promise to support the local community in Enfield. Last year TG Lynes launched its inaugural Helping Hands campaign which saw more than £15,000 of product and labour awarded to three good causes in its vicinity. Andrew praised Martin for his achievements over six-and-a- half years at the TG Lynes helm. Head of New Build, Simon Brown will ensure Secon is well placed to offer tailored designs to housebuilders, while Joe Monkhouse joins the growing Sunderland-based business as Northern Sales Manager. With a degree in engineering and 18 years’ experience in the heating and renewable energy products sector, Simon Brown has spent the last seven years working for Panasonic as UK Business Development Manager. He has helped more than 50 major housebuilders to transition from gas boilers to heat pump and renewable technology.
