28 UK director role for Martyn Ives as Fujitsu announce organisational changes Fujitsu General Air Conditioning UK has announced organisational changes that see Martyn Ives promoted to distribution sales and technical director. It is the first time in 20 years that a member of the UK team has been promoted to a director role within the organisation. Further changes see James Richardson promoted to technical services manager, Stuart Eagleton will move focus to applied sales and key accounts, Giles Pratt is promoted to direct sales manager and Trevyn Holland promoted to direct sales support specialist. Andrew Wheeler, previously of Trane, Daikin Applied and formerly McQuay, has joined the applied consultant sales team adding to the team’s experience in specifying and designing chillers and air handling units. Shaun McCarthy joins Grant UK as a Sales Support Engineer Shaun McCarthy has joined Grant UK in the new position of Sales Support Engineer, providing onsite product support for all of Grant’s renewable heating technologies. Shaun will be supporting Grant UK’s Area Sales Managers and Renewable Business Development Managers with technical assistance for air source heat pump installations. Shaun will also be providing onsite product training, helping installers and merchants to develop their knowledge of renewable heating systems so that they can confidently grow their own businesses into the renewables market. For more than thirty years, Shaun has been a heating engineer and for over half that time, he has been involved in working with renewable technologies. Throughout his career, Shaun has been an installation and commissioning engineer as well carrying out product maintenance with repairs and servicing. In his roles, both as an engineer and working for manufacturers, Shaun has provided technical training and sales support for various different systems, specialising in heat pumps and renewable technologies in recent years. ACR Strengthens their support across the UK As well as new branding to bring in 2021, experts in hot water, ACV UK, are strengthening their sales team. Andy Devlin joins as a Business Development Manager for North West and Trevor Betts as Business Support Officer for Midlands. Andy Devlin has almost 14 years’ experience in the heating industry, most recently six years working in the commercial division of Strebel. Trevor Betts joins as Business Support Officer for Groupe Atlantic UK working across both ACV UK and Ideal Heating Commercial Division.
