10 Autumn/Winter 2021 INDUSTRY NEWS STREAMLINED E-COMMERCE INTERFACE INTRODUCED H BS Systems introduced NetView ECOM, a streamlined e-commerce interface, to Kubota dealers at the Kubota Connect 2021 annual conference recently. HBS, which provides web-based equipment dealership management solutions and rental software, states that it is a solution which will provide equipment dealerships with an easy way to monitor and process sales orders from multiple OEMs and channels in one place. Equipment dealers will be able to capture online sales and increase profitability, monitor the status of orders at a glance, review and accept orders with ease and instantly review and update shipping method and quantity totals. Streamlined ordering can be managed in one location within NetView ECO with one customisable screen through NetView ECOM, accessible from anywhere on any device. HBS Systems President and CEO, Chad Stone, said: “We’re constantly innovating to increase our dealer’s efficiency and profitability. Providing solutions that connect our dealers with their customers to strengthen customer satisfaction and loyalty is another example of partnering with our customers.” He added: “Our development team’s goal over the more than 35 years has always been to deliver more technology and benefits to our customers than expected.” W ernerCo has announced a new £10 million investment plan, including the relocation of its UK distribution centre to a new purpose-built facility. During 2020, the manufacturer experienced strong levels of customer growth and the new WernerCo facilities are currently being built in Burton. As well as a larger facility with increased storage space to enhance sales and distribution capabilities, the new 170,000 sq ft state-of-the- art development will also act as a central office for the UK that will host customer care, the marketing department and a showroom and training facility. This investment will also see new jobs created for the local community, including essential roles within the warehouse and logistics team. Managing Director Justin White said: “Despite the challenges faced in 2020, WernerCo had an incredibly strong year, with sales in the DIY and consumer market continuing to soar across our core brands such as Werner and Youngman. Following this, we are delighted to be re-investing into our warehouse and logistics capabilities with our new facilities. “The new facilities are ideally located with good transport links, allowing us to continue offering services such as next-day delivery. This relocation will also provide us with additional space, further enhancing our operations and enabling us to continue supplying our best-selling products to meet customer demand.
