50 Autumn/Winter 2021 AN UPDATE ON NEW PRODUCTS, APPLICATIONS AND PROJECTS Next Edition... Please send press releases and advertisements for upcoming features to: eresa Geeson – theresag@warnersgroup.co.uk SPRING 2022 NEW TELESCOPIC HANDLER LAUNCHED FOR FARMS JCB has launched a new telescopic handler to work in and around farm buildings. The Loadall 532-60 Agri Super features JCB’s award-winning DualTech VT transmission, with hydrostatic and powershift drives, and a new 130hp (97kW) JCB DieselMax engine with fuel-saving auto shut-down feature. It has a 140-litre/min, 240 bar load-sensing hydraulics package as standard, together with fast lowering regenerative hydraulics for the telescopic boom. Like the 532-60 Agri, the new Agri Super model has selectable four-wheel steering. An extra 400kg takes the weight of the machine to 7740kg, which helps keep it planted with good traction on rough ground and smooth, slippery surfaces alike. Lift capacity is 3200kg to a full-height lift of 6.22m and the boom supports a 1400kg load at a horizontal forward reach of 3.33m from the front tyres. REUSABLE FACE MASK FULLY VALIDATED The Silver Life Mask has completed the CE Registration process and is a TYPE 2 Face Mask, making it fully validated reusable PPE. Employers, schools, charities, hospitals, care homes and health authorities can protect staff, pupils, and volunteers with the masks which are reusable for up to 100 washes and made from 36% recycled material. Globally, 129 billion face masks are used every month. Dr. Alan Green, environmentalist and founder of SP Science Limited said: “We have received reported cases of 10,000 masks being used daily in some hospitals – a 33-fold increase. We also understand that several hospitals are now considering the purchase of specialist incineration devices (a huge piece of kit with a huge capital cost) for disposal. The use of Silver Life Face Masks could significantly reduce or even remove this type of expenditure.” TEAM TAKES TO THE ROAD TO PROMOTE PRODUCTS MHM Group’s National Sales and Innovations Manager, David Mallon, and his sales team are travelling the UK and Ireland in newly livered vehicles, promoting the complete range of MHM equipment.
