he terraced pitches at Wave Crest have amazing views out to
the Atlantic, and boat trips are available direct from the site’s
own slipway. The site slopes down to a shingle beach where you
can launch your own craft. This is a paradise for the swimmer,
and has many rock pools to delight children. There’s a restaurant
and takeaway, as well as a licensed shop with a deli counter
o ering sandwiches made to order (open May-Aug). Other
facilities include a modern toilet/shower block, laundry room
and play area. Local activities includewatersports, horse riding and
walks in the beautiful countryside. GreenTourism Silver award.

countryside setting. Being amid hills and woodland means
this site has everything for the keen walker and those seeking
a peaceful retreat. Woodland walks, the Galtee Mountains and
the wooded slopes of Slievenamuck, local pub and hotel are all
withinwalking distance of the site. There are some great stretches
of water available locally for shing. Pets will love the open space.
Pitches have electric hook-ups and hardstandings are available.
On-site facilities are ultra-modern and there’s a large recreation
room with pool table, table tennis and TV lounge.
