Here are our top 10 tips for buying the right motorhome or campervan for the right price at one of these events 1 WRITE A WISH LIST Creating a list of what you must have in your new motorhome and what you would like is the essential first step. Your ‘must have’ list will feature things like the number of travel seats and berths, bed lengths, a toilet, overall motorhome length and weight, payload, kitchen facilities, etc. The ‘nice to have’ list will be things like TV, reversing camera, awning, etc. Keep these lists with you and refer to it and make sure any motorhome you’re interested in ticks off all the essentials. 2 ASK THE EXPERTS The choice of motorhomes and campervans on sale can be confusing, so ask an expert. If you have a trade-in, then the dealers can give a more accurate part-exchange value as they can see it in the metal. You can also meet other motorhomers who may have a similar vehicle to the one you want and so can provide valuable insights and advice.
