35 CHANGING FACES MARK WALSH, SENIOR SALES ENGINEER, COOLAIR EQUIPMENT Air conditioning specialist Coolair Equipment has announced a new appointment to head-up expansion into Scotland and the North East. The operation will be led by senior sales engineer Mark Walsh , who has more than 20 years’ experience working with the likes of Kooltech and Midea UK. Coolair Equipment, which is headquartered in Manchester with offices in Maidstone and the Midlands, will now establish a permanent base in Newcastle, headed-up by Mark. With over 13 years’ experience in the HVAC industry, James has a strong building services background and as well as technical sales for applied solutions. James has worked for a number of leading manufacturers as a contracts and applications engineer but also worked in technical sales, internally and externally. Latterly James has held a variety of sales management roles working closely with consultants and contractors. Peter has almost 20 years' experience working in the heating sector and joins LG after holding senior sales positions at Vaillant Group and Baxi Heating. He began his career as an HVAC engineer at Bracknell Forest Council and has also held technical, product and marketing management positions at Strebel. Currently a committee member for the CIBSE Home Counties North West region, Peter said: “These are exciting times at LG and in the heat pump marketplace. I’m really enjoying being a part of the LG team as the heat pump revolution gets underway here in the UK. Michael joined Jenton two years ago as sales engineer responsible for the complete sales cycle of the company’s food processing automation equipment and UV disinfection systems. During this time, he also helped develop JenAct’s GRU-V Jet ceiling-mounted UV air disinfection system for food processing plants. In his new role, Michael will further drive sales of JenAct’s UV disinfection systems whilst working on sector specific related projects and collaborating with customers to develop bespoke solutions.
