n the Peak District, Longnor Wood is a ve-pennant adults
only campsite that o ers 47 pitches with 10 amp electric
hook-up. You’ll not go wanting for facilities here. In addition to
the expected spotless heated amenities block (which even has
a laundry room), the campsite has a shop, together with picnic
benches dotted here and there, a putting green, and courts for
playing badminton and boules. Longnor itself is a pretty little
moorland town just over a mile away that o ers several good
pubs. Venture further a eld, and you’ll nd Buxton, Chatsworth
House and Dovedale all within easy reach.
