Get out there
Y
ou could easily be lured simply by the stunningly beautiful and majestic
Snowdonian mountain backdrop that surrounds Dolserau Hall. This 19th century
country house has connections to the Welsh gold industry and comfortably
nestles within a walkers paradise. But, while the views are breathtaking, this venue, which
is one of 20 HF Holidays’ venues across the UK, boasts to be able to cater for a range of
dietary requirements, which certainly impressed Coeliac UK Member David, when we sent
him to investigate last October.
David says...
“Food is an important part of any holiday, even more so when you’re eating
gluten-free. It can be a real deal breaker, so I was impressed by the menu choices
at Dolserau Hall – they offered gluten-free options for every meal, as well as a
gluten-free afternoon tea and having recently achieved Coeliac UK GF accreditation,
me and my fellow guests all felt reassured and comfortable with our choices. I could
not fault the options, availability or quality of the food over the weekend – like the
surrounding walking environment, it was stunning.
What’s more, while we opted for a self guided walking break, HF Holidays also offer a
fully guided option, as well as a full range
of special activity breaks from music to
yoga, art, photography and even craft
weekends, the options are as impressive
as their gluten-free food offerings.
There is certainly no excuse for not
getting out and enjoying a gluten-free
break, whatever your chosen activity –
I will certainly be booking another
HF Holidays gluten-free get away soon
… but should I opt for the photography,
natural world or, an art activity break?”
