WE NEED YOU
AWARENESSWEEK
Join the campaign -
get out and about
It’s all about getting the message out there, so why not become an
organiser for our national Coeliac UK Leafleting Day? On Saturday
14 May you can join us as we hit the streets along with many other
Members passionate about making a big impact across the country.
It’s simply a case of giving out leaflets and talking to people – what
could be easier? There will be so many of us all doing it at the same
time. Together we can make a big impact.
• Sign up to be an organiser of a leafleting event via
our website at
• Once you’re signed up we’ll send you everything you
need to know to organise a successful event
• Rope in friends and family to take part with you.
You could give out leaflets at work, in your local high
street, pharmacy, supermarket or school – anywhere
with a large volume of people.
Help us flood social media
You can support the campaign easily from
the comfort of your own sofa. Simply lend
us your social media friends and followers
to help us get #isitcoeliacdisease trending.
We’re planning to do this through a
Thunderclap which is a tool that allows all
of us to say the same thing on social media
at the same time, so that more people
hear it. Imagine how many of us there are
and how many friends/followers we all
have who could potentially see our posts?
Let’s see how far we can get our message!

In 2015 the Is it coeliac disease?
campaign got off to a great
start and we’re keeping it
going for 2016
Get involved for your chance to be part of our
next big push to improve diagnosis and help us
find the half a million people currently living with
undiagnosed coeliac disease, so that they can get
the support they need.
Whether you’re planning on getting involved by
raising awareness, campaigning or fundraising,
there are plenty of activities to choose from to
support our shared cause.
