FUNDRAISING
Coeliac UK relies on money raised through fundraising to
sustain core services such as our Helpline and with your
support we can increase the choices available to those
with coeliac disease, help to reduce the time it takes to get
diagnosed and fund key research into the disease to better
understand how to improve people’s lives.
We are here to support the good work that you and
others do and together we can make a real difference to
the lives of people with coeliac disease and dermatitis
herpetiformis, allowing them to hope for a future without
the restrictions and suffering that the conditions can cause.
If you would like to help make a difference by fundraising
for Coeliac UK, here are just a few of the materials that we
can offer to help make your event a success:

THANK YOU TO EVERYONE
WHO HELPED US IN 2015:
“The party was to celebrate my 65th birthday and because me
and my husband love cruises, especially to the Caribbean, we
thought a tropical theme would be great fun. All the guests,
without exception, said what a great idea it was to ask for
charity donations instead of gifts.“

Together
we are
making a difference
We can’t do what we do without you, which
is why we are so grateful to everyone who
helped us in 2015, from those of you who
took on the Virgin Money London Marathon,
to those who organised their own event at
their home, workplace, or school.

“It was a good
support to receive
emails and calls from
Coeliac UK regarding
my training progress
and again reinforced
the reason I was
doing the run.”

“We made some
gluten-free goodies
and asked colleagues
to make donations
in exchange. We put
some information
leaflets up around
the office too, about
coeliac disease,
symptoms, and what
Awareness Week is
for this year.”
