Restaurants, guests will
always find classic brasserie
favourites such as steak
frites, tuna niςoise and chargrilled
corn-fed Breton chicken. There’s a
tempting selection of desserts on offer
and Côte’s delicious crème caramel is a
much loved house speciality. The wine
list is extensive and informative, yet
reasonably priced, featuring wines from
a variety of producers across France.
What’s more the group is currently in
the process of gaining GF accreditation,
so we thought we should take a closer
look at why catering gluten-free is
important to them.
A contemporary take on the classic
Parisian brasserie; award winning
Côte offers simple, freshly prepared
French food and relaxed all-day dining
in elegant surroundings. Côte Brasseries
offer an extensive gluten-free menu,
which has developed from building on
their traditional menus, as most of the
dishes are freshly prepared to order and
naturally gluten-free. They even offer
gluten-free breakfast options and a
gluten-free Christmas menu for the
party season.
Côte Restaurant’s CEO Alex Scrimgeour
originally joined the company as their
Food and Beverage Director and remains
the creative force behind their menus.
His wife has coeliac disease, so not
surprisingly, with his chef background,
he understands how difficult it can be to
safely dine out and is extremely mindful
of issues facing people with coeliac
disease in restaurants, such as cross
contamination. As a result, the Group’s
decision to obtain GF accreditation
seemed like natural progression, in order
to make people with coeliac disease feel
even more safe and comfortable dining
with them.
What’s more the ever growing interest
in eating with the seasons, along with
Côte’s commitment to sourcing high
quality ingredients, results in monthly
changing specials and set menus,
ensuring there is always something
new to delight both regular and first
time guests.
